Alma from NYC Says ¡Hola!
Hi! I’m Alma and I’m 5 years old. I LOVE listening to your podcast on the way to school in the morning! It’s so fun learning about different countries, cultures, and languages—it feels like I’m going on a little adventure every day! 🌍 I go to a Spanish dual language school in NYC and my family is from the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴. I would be SO excited if you did an episode all about Dominican culture—please please please! 💃🏽🌴 Thanks for making mornings so fun! 💛 Love, Alma 😊
Our go to show at home and on the road.
Kia ora (hello/well wishes). Thank you for such a great, positive, compassionate show. Our boys (6.5 & 3.5 yo) absolutely love this podcast and want to hear all the episodes as they come out, as my oldest say “they’re all fun in different ways”. They always look forward to the joke at the end and have started coming up with their own “joke time” at home. My partner and I love it too and we also learn heaps thanks to it. Please keep up the good work! Ngā mihi nui (many thanks) from Aotearoa, New Zealand.
We love Culture Kids!

Such wonderful uplifting messages each episode. My 5 year old, Melody, has been listening for years and loves the stories. We learn a lot as parents too! We travel a lot due to work and each episode helps us appreciate all the beautiful cultures around us!
Simply Amazing Content
We found Culture Kids and haven’t stopped listening since. Our 4 & 2 yo love the volcano adventures and learning about people who live with animals. Thank you for bringing us this thoughtful, fun, and beautifully produced content that we all enjoy together.
Our fave!
My 8 year old Eli and 4 year old Atalia LOVE your show! Eli told his teacher all about it when they were studying Vietnam and other countries you feature! And when we saw a shaved ice shack on Block Island they said Like on Culture Kids!! As a mom who used to travel frequently in my youth, it cures my travel bug and I have honestly learned so much. Thank you for keeping our car rides entertaining and educational!
We get excited to listen to new episodes
This review from Apollo (5) - “I love this podcast, it’s so funny and teaches me about all kinds of places and things I didn’t know about.” As his parent- I enjoy that the content is truly inclusive and family friendly. We look forward to getting our imaginary passport stamped!
Culture Kids is a gem of an adventure for the entire family !
Our multigenerational family adores this podcast! Kristen and Asher make learning about world cultures so fun and engaging through fascinating interviews and immersive sound design that transforms our car and home into a doorway to global adventures . My granddaughters loved the Lunar New Year episode—Penelope’s four and proud to be a Rat like Miss Kristen, and two year old Eleanor (a Tiger) insists she’s a Snake like Asher! Thank you for bringing us joy and helping us connect with each other—and the world!
Cultures have relationships!
I love your podcast because you cover so many topics like how to make chocolate, Pokémon explanations, and learning about soufflés and fudge. I learn that every culture has a relationship with other cultures. Thank you, Culture Kids, you inspire me. - Ezra (kindergarten)
